About the Role
You'll act as the first point of contact for prospective customers, introducing them to Podium's suite of business-critical SaaS tools that help drive foot traffic, manage online reputation, and streamline customer communications. Whether it's a boutique retailer, a multi-site chain, or a car dealership trying to compete online, you'll be on the frontlines sparking interest, uncovering pain points, and qualifying leads that are ready to see how Podium can transform their customer experience. This role also offers a clear progression path into an Account Executive position, with coaching, enablement, and hands-on mentorship designed to help you step into a closing role.
Requirements
- A strong interest in engaging with small and medium-sized business owners
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A driven, self-motivated attitude with the resilience to thrive in a high-volume outbound environment
- Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding KPIs in previous roles
- Experience in technology sales and a passion for helping similar businesses grow
- A desire to launch or grow your career in tech sales, with a learning mindset and coachable attitude
Responsibilities
- Prospect into industry-specific sectors to generate and qualify leads, creating sales-ready opportunities for the Account Executive team
- Make high-volume outbound cold calls and emails to owners, operators, and decision makers
- Educate prospects on how Podium can address industry-specific challenges such as customer reviews, missed messages, and SMS marketing
- Exceed monthly quotas for qualified demos, pipeline creation, and opportunity generation
- Collaborate closely with Account Executives to schedule product demos and ensure a smooth handoff
- Log and manage pipeline activity in Salesforce, maintaining accurate data and notes
