About the Role
You will lead, coach, and grow a Field Engineering team supporting enterprise opportunities. You will partner with sales on technical discovery, demos, proofs of concept, and deal strategy; resolve complex evaluations; develop talent; share field insights; and ensure effective post-sales handoffs.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience leading Field Engineers, Solutions Architects, or pre-sales teams in enterprise software
- Technical fluency in modern software development workflows, AI tooling, and developer productivity
- Ability to partner with Sales while maintaining technical integrity and customer trust
- Experience in customer-facing, high-pressure deal environments
- Communication skills and executive presence for engaging developers, architects, and CTOs
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and scale a team of Field Engineers supporting enterprise opportunities
- Partner with Sales leadership and account executives on technical discovery, demos, and proofs of concept
- Establish best practices for evaluations, proof-of-concept execution, and technical deal strategy
- Serve as an escalation point for complex customer evaluations and high-stakes enterprise deals
- Hire, onboard, and develop Field Engineering talent
- Feed customer and prospect insights back to Product and Engineering
- Ensure handoffs with post-sales teams support customer onboarding and adoption
- Maintain knowledge of the product, roadmap, and competitive landscape
