Requirements
- Experience in hands-on software development with Go or JavaScript
- Experience managing engineers through expectations, feedback, development, and performance management
- Experience building or improving team operating systems
- Delivery management skills
- Technical ability to understand engineering work and challenge assumptions
- Experience hiring and onboarding engineers
- Experience collaborating with product and technical leadership
Responsibilities
- Establish team structure, ownership, and ways of working
- Build planning and coordination practices that support delivery
- Remove administrative and organizational work that distracts engineers
- Lead expectations, feedback, one-to-ones, career development, hiring, and onboarding
- Coordinate delivery and dependencies while keeping priorities, commitments, and risks visible
- Agree priorities with Product and the Tech Lead
- Improve recurring delivery and coordination problems
