About the Role
You will lead people and manage delivery. You will own roadmap planning, develop engineers through coaching and performance management, build the team through hiring and resource planning, and foster a healthy culture. You will translate requirements into delivery plans, manage risk and dependencies, and align work with business goals.
Requirements
- Project management experience building roadmaps, sequencing work, managing dependencies and risk, and driving delivery predictability
- Technical background sufficient for technical discussions with engineers
- Experience leading, growing, and managing software-engineer performance
- Track record of delivering software through a team while balancing scope, quality, and timelines
- People leadership skills, including coaching, feedback, conflict resolution, and team development
- Hiring and talent-development judgment
- Cross-functional stakeholder management and communication experience
- Based in Amsterdam or willing to relocate
Responsibilities
- Manage roadmap priorities, planning, and work sequencing
- Own career planning, promotions, coaching, and performance management for engineers
- Lead hiring, headcount planning, and resource allocation
- Manage team culture, morale, productivity, and conflict
- Hold regular one-on-ones, provide feedback, and invest in team building
- Translate technical and business requirements into delivery plans and identify dependencies and risks
- Liaise between Engineering, Trading, and Quant teams on new products
- Track delivery progress, manage risk and scope trade-offs, and report status
- Improve delivery processes and team velocity
- Align team work with organisational goals and delivery timelines
