About the Role
You will build relationships with Australian government institutions to drive product adoption and revenue. You will develop partnerships with policymakers and industry groups, represent the organization at events, monitor policy developments, advise leadership, and implement policy campaigns and impact initiatives.
Requirements
- 15+ years of public and private sector experience
- Track record of building government relationships that led to commercial or technology-adoption outcomes
- Current network across Australian government institutions
- Knowledge of the Australian AI policy landscape
- Experience designing, advocating for, and influencing policy outcomes
- Coalition building experience
- Public policy experience across Australia
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Fluency in English
Responsibilities
- Identify government partnership opportunities across Australia and drive product adoption
- Build and maintain relationships with Australian government institutions
- Promote product and service adoption with the go-to-market team
- Build relationships with policymakers, regulators, industry associations, and civil society groups
- Represent the organization at conferences and industry events
- Lead engagement with Australian government bodies and officials
- Monitor, analyze, and advise on emerging regulations
- Support internal policy development
- Provide strategic counsel on regional policy trends and business implications
- Define and implement policy campaigns and impact initiatives
