About the Role
You will lead a portfolio of programs involving solid rocket motors, chemicals, and explosives. You will develop coordinated plans, manage scope, schedules, costs, risks, resources, contracts, and financial performance, and serve as the liaison among internal teams, customers, and government agencies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or management, or equivalent experience
- 10 years of project or supply chain management and operations experience
- Defense or government project management experience
- Contract negotiation experience
- Project management software experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance
- U.S. citizenship or other stated export-authorization eligibility
- Eligibility for applicable state and federal explosives licenses
- Ability to travel up to 30%
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute plans for a portfolio of projects
- Manage project scope, schedules, cost estimates, risk assessments, and resources
- Serve as liaison among internal teams, clients, and government agencies
- Monitor budgets and financial performance
- Manage and communicate scope changes
- Negotiate contracts with vendors, suppliers, and customers
