About the Role
You will set the program-management vision, coordinate development-test portfolios and resourcing, and establish governance and standards. You will manage and coach program managers, ensure clear test procedures and engineering communication, manage budgets and dependencies, communicate risks, improve execution quality, and establish reporting and process improvements.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in program management, project management, or technical operations
- 5+ years directly managing Program Managers or Project Managers
- Experience building standardized reporting and operating cadences
- Technical fluency across software and hardware development workflows
- Experience translating engineering plans into field test programs
- Experience managing engineering and planning stakeholders
- Experience driving change management and process improvement
Responsibilities
- Set program-management strategy, governance, and standards
- Manage, coach, and develop Program Managers
- Coordinate test programs, portfolios, and resourcing
- Ensure initiatives and test procedures are clear and executable
- Manage engineering communication and escalation paths
- Manage resources, budgets, and dependencies
- Communicate test program risks and mitigations
- Review execution and QA trends and drive root-cause fixes
- Standardize workflows, develop metrics, and establish reporting
