About the Role

You will develop and execute the partner go-to-market strategy for Japan. You will recruit, onboard, enable, and manage partners; generate joint pipeline; run business reviews; relay partner feedback; advise on AI policy and risk; and represent the solutions at industry events.

Requirements

  • Native-level Japanese fluency
  • Business-level English fluency
  • 8+ years of partner development, channel sales, or alliance management experience in technology
  • Enterprise ARR contribution track record
  • Understanding of the Japanese enterprise market and industry verticals
  • Relationship-building and negotiation skills
  • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance landscapes, AI ethics, and government policy
  • AI knowledge including LLMs, retrieval-augmented generation, and agentic workflows
  • Experience with system integrators, global consultancies, hyperscalers, joint GTM, and co-sell motions
  • Communication and presentation skills

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the partner go-to-market plan for Japan.
  • Identify and recruit system integrators, distributors, resellers, ISVs, and cloud providers.
  • Develop relationships with partner stakeholders.
  • Lead partner onboarding, certification, and training programs.
  • Deliver sales and technical enablement workshops.
  • Create co-sell motions, solution plays, and joint go-to-market initiatives.
  • Identify and pursue high-value opportunities with partners.
  • Run joint business-planning sessions and quarterly business reviews.
  • Track sourced and influenced ARR against targets.
  • Relay partner feedback to Product, Engineering, and Legal teams.
  • Advise partners on Japanese AI policy, risk management, and responsible AI practices.
  • Represent solutions at partner and industry events.
  • Build thought leadership through briefings, speaking engagements, and collaborative initiatives.
