About the Role
Lead a team of commercial lawyers handling complex international agreements for enterprise customers. Advise senior stakeholders, guide risk-based legal decisions, improve negotiation processes through automation, oversee commercial initiatives, and support legal training and compliance.
Requirements
- 6+ years of legal experience
- Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial contracts
- Understanding of contract law principles
- Experience managing, mentoring, and developing legal professionals
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Experience educating others on complex ideas
- Ability to prioritize work in a high-volume environment
- Fluency in English
Responsibilities
- Manage, mentor, and develop a team of commercial lawyers
- Provide strategic legal advice to senior commercial stakeholders
- Guide risk-based decisions on complex legal issues
- Drive legal automation and process improvements
- Advise on contract interpretation and early-stage customer disputes
- Create negotiation playbooks and train commercial colleagues
- Maintain consistent standards across the Deal Desk
- Monitor developments in commercial law and industry regulations
