About the Role
You will draft, structure, and negotiate complex commercial agreements and advise leadership on legal matters. You will partner with Sales, Finance, Product, and Engineering, create legal playbooks and training, and improve legal operations.
Requirements
- J.D. degree from an accredited law school
- Active membership in one state bar
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Experience negotiating complex commercial agreements, software licenses, strategic partnerships, and joint development agreements
- Experience negotiating intellectual-property and material-contract representations in financing agreements
- Ability to travel up to 20%
Responsibilities
- Lead drafting, structuring, and negotiation of complex commercial contracts
- Advise leadership on legal matters
- Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Product, and Engineering
- Support intellectual property, product, and compliance activities
- Create forms, playbooks, and training
- Develop scalable legal operations processes, programs, and tools
- Manage other legal duties as needed
