About the Role

You will lead the negotiation of customer and infrastructure contracts across APAC. You will advise on regional legal and regulatory matters, coordinate external counsel, support commercial leadership, and build processes and training that enable complex AI infrastructure and cloud deals.

Requirements

  • Be qualified to practice law in Singapore or another common-law jurisdiction.
  • Have 8–12 years of post-qualification in-house experience.
  • Have significant experience negotiating customer and infrastructure contracts for cloud, SaaS, data center, telecom, or technology infrastructure services.
  • Have experience negotiating complex, high-value deals with enterprise, hyperscale, and public-sector customers across APAC.
  • Understand data protection, cybersecurity, technology regulation, and industry best practices in key APAC markets.
  • Have strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the drafting and negotiation of AI cloud and infrastructure service agreements.
  • Negotiate capacity commitments, delivery timelines, pricing, prepayment, service credits, security, data protection, intellectual property, indemnities, liability limitations, and termination rights.
  • Structure and negotiate partner, reseller, marketplace, and co-sell arrangements.
  • Advise on APAC legal and regulatory matters affecting cloud and AI services.
  • Work with Compliance on export controls, sanctions, and anti-corruption considerations.
  • Coordinate outside counsel across APAC jurisdictions and manage external spend.
  • Provide risk-calibrated guidance to regional commercial leadership.
  • Collaborate with US and UK commercial counsel on globally consistent templates and positions.
  • Build playbooks and training for Sales and Deal Desk.
  • Contribute to deal governance and approval processes.
