About the Role

You will manage, mentor, and develop commercial lawyers who draft, review, and negotiate vendor and partner agreements. You will advise senior stakeholders on commercial, regulatory, and contractual matters, resolve escalated legal issues, improve negotiation processes through automation, and develop global standards, playbooks, and training.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of legal experience in-house or at a law firm
  • Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial contracts
  • Understanding of contract-law principles
  • Experience managing, mentoring, and developing legal professionals
  • Experience advising stakeholders on complex legal matters
  • Ability to prioritize high-volume work and drive processes to completion

Responsibilities

  • Manage, mentor, and develop commercial lawyers
  • Draft, review, and negotiate complex multi-jurisdictional commercial agreements
  • Provide strategic legal advice to senior stakeholders
  • Serve as the escalation point for complex legal issues and risk-based decisions
  • Drive legal automation and negotiation-process improvements
  • Advise on contract interpretation, early-stage disputes, and commercial matters
  • Develop negotiation playbooks and train internal teams
  • Maintain consistent Deal Desk standards and initiatives globally
  • Monitor commercial-law and industry-regulation developments
