About the Role
You will structure, draft, and negotiate strategic infrastructure partnership agreements across North America and Latin America. You will advise stakeholders on agreement interpretation, regulatory matters, risks, and opportunities; collaborate with cross-functional partners; create deal resources; and monitor applicable laws, regulations, and network rules.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience as a practicing lawyer in-house and at law firms
- Experience with financial institutions or technology-company transactions
- Experience with financial services partnership transactions
- Contract, regulatory, intellectual property, and privacy issue-spotting skills
- Contract drafting and negotiation skills
- English communication skills
- Project management skills
- Risk-based judgment
- Spanish or Portuguese proficiency is preferred
Responsibilities
- Build, manage, and grow strategic relationships with financial and technology partners
- Structure, draft, and negotiate infrastructure partnership agreements
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders on regulatory, product, expansion, and commercial objectives
- Advise stakeholders on partner agreements, rules, risks, and opportunities
- Create and maintain form agreements, position guides, and implementation briefs
- Monitor relevant laws, regulations, and scheme and network rules
- Provide practical guidance on ambiguous or rapidly evolving matters
