About the Role
You will lead domestic and international B2B contract review, drafting, and negotiation with customers, financial institutions, and partners. You will advise on legal and regulatory matters for products and new businesses; assess risks involving digital assets, finance, data, and privacy; and present practical options to executives. You will manage disputes, receivables, intellectual property, corporate-governance matters, and capital transactions. You will also standardize legal work through templates, playbooks, and guidelines, and improve legal processes using AI and legal technology.
Requirements
- 5–7 years of corporate legal experience at a law firm or as in-house counsel.
- Ability to independently review and draft contracts and provide legal advice.
- Ability to understand business objectives and provide practical risk-mitigation options.
- Knowledge of blockchain, digital assets, AI, and changing regulatory environments.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate with business, product, engineering, finance, HR, and information-security functions.
- Korean attorney qualification.
- In-house legal experience at a technology company, such as IT, SaaS, API, cloud, or data platform businesses.
- Experience reviewing legal and regulatory issues in blockchain, Web3, digital assets, fintech, or RegTech.
- Experience negotiating B2B contracts with financial institutions or large enterprises.
- Knowledge of privacy, data, software licensing, and intellectual-property law.
- Ability to review and draft English-language contracts and negotiate with overseas customers or partners.
- Experience standardizing legal work with templates, playbooks, or guidelines and applying AI or legal technology.
Responsibilities
- Review, draft, and lead negotiations for domestic and international B2B contracts.
- Manage technology contracts, including service and solution agreements, MSA, SLA, SOW, DPA, NDA, partnership, and licensing agreements.
- Advise on legal and regulatory issues affecting products, services, and new businesses.
- Analyze regulatory changes related to virtual assets, finance, data, and personal information.
- Report key legal issues, risks, and alternatives to executives.
- Handle disputes, claims, receivables, and related legal procedures.
- Manage intellectual-property issues involving software, data, copyrights, and trademarks.
- Review legal procedures and documents for board and shareholder meetings.
- Manage legal matters related to investment agreements, shareholder agreements, investor consents, governance, and capital transactions.
- Create templates, playbooks, and guidelines for recurring legal issues.
- Improve contract and legal-advisory processes using AI and legal technology.
