About the Role
You will design develop and maintain complex Java applications across the software development lifecycle. You will contribute to architecture decisions review code guide developers collaborate with cross-functional colleagues and support production issues root-cause analysis and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Core Java 8 or later
- Enterprise Java development experience
- Experience with Spring and Spring Boot
- Experience with REST APIs and microservices architecture
- Strong SQL skills
- Experience with relational databases such as Oracle or PostgreSQL
- Experience with Kafka or JMS
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines Git and Maven or Gradle
- Understanding of multithreading performance tuning and memory management
- Experience in Agile or Scrum environments
- Strong unit testing and automated testing practices
- Experience with JUnit and Mockito
- Knowledge of secure coding and application security
- Cloud-based or hybrid architecture experience is desirable
- Financial services wealth management banking or FinTech experience is preferred
- Experience with enterprise platforms and regulatory requirements is preferred
- Understanding of trade processing custody funds or investment platforms is advantageous
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related discipline
- 6-9 years of relevant software development experience including technical leadership
