About the Role
You will design and develop scalable message-driven services using Java and Micronaut. You will build event-driven microservices write tested and maintainable code optimize payment services and research technologies that improve backend reliability performance and scalability.
Requirements
- 4+ years of software development experience using Java and modern frameworks
- Java as the primary programming language
- Experience with Micronaut or Spring Boot
- Understanding of relational and non-relational databases
- Experience with Postgres or MongoDB is beneficial
- Experience creating and maintaining publicly available REST APIs
- Understanding of API performance optimization and scalability
- Practical knowledge of message-oriented middleware
- Experience with Apache Kafka or ZeroMQ is beneficial
- Understanding of CI/CD
- Familiarity with AWS Kubernetes or another public cloud
Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable resilient message-driven services using Java and Micronaut
- Write clean future-proof code with unit test coverage
- Perform end-to-end and integration testing before deployment
- Optimize payment modules and services for reliability maintainability performance and scalability
- Research and adopt current backend development technologies
