About the Role
You integrate payment providers, build APIs for mobile and web applications, support integration between the in-house ledger and blockchain, maintain CI/CD and security infrastructure, and work with Product to ship and iterate quickly. You also help define the platform roadmap and architecture and establish maintainable, test-driven coding standards.
Requirements
- 5+ years of backend experience
- Fluency in Java
- Experience with Java 24, AWS, Docker, PostgreSQL, Redis, Spring Boot, and Hibernate
- Experience with crypto is preferred but not mandatory
- Start-up or scale-up experience is preferred but not mandatory
- Based in Europe or able to work in European time zones
Responsibilities
- Integrate third-party providers for card issuing, card acquiring, and banking payment flows
- Build APIs for mobile and web applications
- Support integration of the in-house ledger with the blockchain
- Maintain the CI/CD pipeline and security infrastructure
- Work closely with Product to ship quickly and iterate frequently
- Help define the platform technical roadmap and architecture
- Establish high-quality, maintainable, and test-driven code standards
- Take ownership of projects and drive them
