About the Role
You will design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs. You will optimize databases, build asynchronous workflows, monitor and troubleshoot production systems, contribute to CI/CD and infrastructure practices, document APIs, review code, and mentor engineers.
Requirements
- 5+ years of commercial backend development experience
- Strong Go proficiency
- Understanding of PostgreSQL or MySQL
- Experience with Redis or similar caching solutions
- Experience designing REST APIs and documenting them with OpenAPI or Swagger
- Understanding of microservices and distributed systems
- Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, NATS, or similar message brokers
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes basics
- Proficiency with Git and CI/CD practices
- Experience with unit and integration testing
- Understanding of application security fundamentals
- Good written and spoken English
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs
- Participate in architecture and design discussions
- Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code
- Optimize database schemas and queries
- Build event-driven and asynchronous workflows using message brokers
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve production systems
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code
- Perform code reviews and mentor Middle and Junior engineers
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver features
- Maintain API and technical documentation
