Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in legal roles with broad corporate legal experience
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law
  • Solid understanding of business operations and their legal implications
  • Strong knowledge of corporate law, taxation, company incorporation, and regulatory compliance across jurisdictions
  • Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts and managing litigation matters
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong analytical thinking and sound judgment when assessing legal risks
  • Fluent English, written and spoken
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders
  • Experience managing legal teams
  • Experience in software development, fintech, or crypto payments

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and develop the legal team to ensure professional growth and capacity to handle complex matters
  • Collaborate with the executive team to set up the legal business model in markets where the company operates
  • Stay up to date on changes to laws and regulations that may impact operations
  • Manage contracts, intellectual property, and litigation matters
  • Provide legal guidance to executives and other employees as needed
  • Mitigate legal risk on a daily basis
  • Develop and implement long-term legal strategies for compliance and operations aligned with expansion goals
