About the Role
You will support M&A transactions and equity fundraisings from structuring and due diligence through negotiation, signing, and closing. You will draft and negotiate transaction documents, coordinate secondary sales, collaborate with internal functions, develop legal templates and guidance, and assist with corporate-affairs compliance matters.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above from an accredited law school in France or another EU country
- At least 4–5 years of relevant legal experience
- At least 3 years at an international law firm
- Experience in M&A, venture capital, or equity financing transactions
- Experience with acquisitions from due diligence through signing and closing
- Knowledge of venture capital and private equity transaction documentation
- English
- French
- Knowledge of artificial intelligence technologies, machine learning, and natural language processing
- Knowledge of AI ethics, including fairness, transparency, accountability, and bias mitigation
Responsibilities
- Structure, negotiate, and advise on M&A transactions
- Support M&A deals through due diligence, negotiation, signing, and closing
- Coordinate equity fundraisings and investor legal communications
- Prepare due-diligence disclosures and investment documentation
- Coordinate secondary sale transactions for investors and employees
- Draft and negotiate transaction documents
