About the Role

You will provide legal and policy advice on commercial deployment, regulatory developments, and autonomous-vehicle compliance. You will create compliance roadmaps, secure operational authorizations, manage reporting and regulator inquiries, address novel legal issues, and support legal projects involving incidents, disputes, and transactions.

Requirements

  • JD degree
  • Active State Bar membership
  • 3–6 years of relevant in-house, law-firm, or government experience
  • Experience handling complex regulatory and legislative matters
  • Analytical, written, and oral communication
  • Multi-jurisdictional regulatory and policy analysis
  • Project management under deadline pressure

Responsibilities

  • Provide cross-functional legal and policy advice throughout commercial deployment
  • Advise on legislative and regulatory processes, trends, and business impacts
  • Design compliance strategies for evolving regulatory frameworks
  • Address novel legal issues involving autonomous-vehicle technology
  • Own compliance roadmaps for federal and state autonomous-vehicle requirements
  • Secure operational authorizations and manage data and incident reporting
  • Develop responses to regulatory inquiries
  • Support targeted incident-response, dispute-resolution, and transactional projects
