About the Role

You will serve as the central contact for data privacy matters and lead the privacy agenda. You will develop governance processes, manage DPIAs, RoPA, DSARs, retention, cross-border transfers, and breach reporting. You will advise on privacy by design, translate privacy law into practical guidance, manage incidents, deliver training, and support data-risk management.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a dedicated data privacy role within a regulated environment
• Working knowledge of UK GDPR and EU GDPR
• Experience managing DPIA, RoPA, and DSAR processes end to end
• Experience in a multi-jurisdictional group structure
• Experience designing privacy governance documentation
• Experience acting as a primary contact for regulators, audit, and risk stakeholders
• Experience delivering privacy training and awareness programmes

Responsibilities

• Act as the central contact for data privacy questions
• Develop the data privacy governance framework
• Manage cross-border data transfer mechanisms
• Manage regulatory notifications, consultations, and privacy reporting
• Advise teams on privacy by design
• Translate privacy law into practical guidance
• Manage privacy incidents and affected-individual communications
• Deliver privacy training and awareness programmes
• Contribute to data-risk management
