About the Role
You will define and execute the Group’s global data protection strategy. You will act as the official Group Data Protection Officer, advise senior stakeholders on privacy matters involving AI and blockchain, manage compliance controls and regulatory engagements, and lead privacy-related operational responses.
Requirements
- 7+ years of data protection experience
- Experience as an appointed Data Protection Officer
- Experience navigating regulatory environments for digital assets and regulated financial services
- Fluency in English
- German language proficiency at C1 level or higher
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and evolve the enterprise data protection management system
- Serve as the official Group Data Protection Officer and primary contact for supervisory authorities
- Lead responses to regulatory inquiries and audits
- Advise C-suite, engineering, and product stakeholders on privacy matters involving blockchain and AI
- Own the data protection control framework and oversee monitoring and control testing
- Drive remediation of control gaps and report framework effectiveness to senior management
- Oversee escalated data subject access requests
- Lead incident response for personal data breaches
- Negotiate critical data processing agreements and international data transfers
- Monitor data protection and digital-asset regulatory developments
- Deliver company-wide privacy training and awareness initiatives
