You will organize internal views and submit responses to public consultations and regulatory inquiries. You will engage government agencies and industry groups, coordinate with peer companies on shared issues, assess policy and regulatory developments, and develop response strategies with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Independent communication, negotiation, and document preparation skills
  • Practical experience in a corporate legal or compliance department, or comparable experience

Responsibilities

  • Organize internal views and develop responses to public comments and inquiries
  • Provide opinions and information through meetings with government agencies
  • Plan and operate study groups and regular meetings with industry peers
  • Consolidate industry views and advance policy proposals
  • Advise business units on policy and regulatory issues
  • Analyze policy and regulatory developments and their business impact
  • Develop internal response strategies and present external opinions when needed
