About the Role
You will track quality issues in data-center deployment and production environments, investigate failures, analyze quality data, and drive corrective and preventive actions. You will coordinate with operations, engineering, supply chain, and vendors, maintain quality records and KPIs, and support hardware ramps, deployments, and upgrades.
Requirements
- Experience with hardware, data-center, or infrastructure systems
- Data analysis, statistics, and metrics skills
- Root cause analysis methods including 5 Whys, fishbone, 8D, or A3
- Cross-team communication and stakeholder management
- Experience with quality tools or QMS software
- English written and verbal communication
Responsibilities
- Track and manage data-center quality issues
- Perform root cause analysis for hardware, software, and process failures
- Analyze production metrics and quality data
- Improve return merchandise authorization turnaround time
- Design and drive corrective and preventive actions
- Implement and verify containment actions
- Collaborate with operations, hardware, engineering, supply chain, and vendors
- Upload failure-analysis reports to quality management systems
- Verify incoming and outgoing spare quality
- Define and report quality KPIs and SLAs
- Oversee material review board inventory and disposition decisions
- Maintain the quality management system and training
- Support quality gates during hardware ramps, deployments, and upgrades
- Travel up to 30% as required
