About the Role
You will develop and execute government-relations strategy across the UK, Nordics, and Benelux. You will build stakeholder relationships, monitor policy developments, advise senior stakeholders, support market-entry efforts, prepare executive materials, represent policy interests, and manage regulatory risks.
Requirements
- 8–10 years of experience in government relations, public affairs, defence policy, parliamentary affairs, strategic communications, business development, or a related field
- Experience in technology, defence, aerospace, security, dual-use sectors, or relevant public-sector roles
- Understanding of UK government and parliamentary processes
- Senior stakeholder engagement experience
- Knowledge of legislative, regulatory, and policy processes
- Experience drafting briefings, policy materials, and executive communications
- Ability to operate across multiple markets and manage competing priorities
- Written and verbal English communication skills
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute regional government-relations strategy
- Build relationships with government, industry, and regulatory stakeholders
- Monitor and communicate policy, budget, procurement, and geopolitical developments
- Advise senior stakeholders on political and public-policy developments
- Support market-entry and capture efforts
- Contribute to consultations, policy engagements, and trade association initiatives
- Prepare briefing notes, position papers, stakeholder maps, and executive materials
- Represent policy interests with policymakers and industry groups
- Align policy positioning with commercial goals
- Identify and manage regulatory, export-control, procurement, and national-security risks
