About the Role
You will translate ambiguous business questions into clear, testable requirements for analytics and data engineering teams. You will assess and prioritize requests, define project ROI and measurement frameworks, establish KPI ownership, resolve conflicting metric definitions, and improve reporting effectiveness.
Requirements
- Substantial business analyst experience in a data- or reporting-heavy environment
- Ability to translate ambiguous business questions into actionable technical specifications
- Experience developing business cases, defining ROI, and evaluating realized benefits
- Experience defining KPIs, establishing ownership, and ensuring metric accountability
- Stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in an advisory capacity with senior stakeholders
- Experience in financial services, trading, or another regulated environment
- Working familiarity with SQL or Power BI
- Exposure to data governance or data quality practices
