About the Role
You will source suppliers, materials, and services; run RFQs, should-cost modeling, and negotiations; review manufacturing proposals; manage validation from RFQ through production; monitor supplier capacity and quality; manage POs and invoicing; negotiate contracts; and lead component strategy.
Requirements
- 5+ years of supply chain, sourcing, or procurement experience in hardware or manufacturing
- Experience sourcing electromechanical or industrial components from prototype through mass production
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and DFM principles
- Experience running RFQs, should-cost models, and cost-reduction negotiations
- Experience managing supplier capacity, quality, and ramp during NPI and production scaling
- Knowledge of global supply chains, incoterms, tariffs, and logistics
- Cross-functional collaboration and program management skills
- Excel, Google Sheets, and ERP systems proficiency
Responsibilities
- Source suppliers, materials, and services
- Align sourcing decisions with cross-functional stakeholders
- Run RFQs, should-cost modeling, and negotiations
- Review supplier manufacturing and quality proposals
- Drive validation processes from RFQ through mass production
- Monitor supplier capacity, production, quality, and shipping
- Manage purchase orders and invoicing
- Negotiate contracts, including MSAs and SOWs
- Support tariff, regulatory, and certification documentation
- Lead component-cost, sourcing, integration, and technology strategies
