About the Role
You will lead negotiations and structure development, real-estate, procurement, energy, construction, and project-finance transactions. You will draft and negotiate project agreements, support permitting and financing matters, align legal terms with technical and commercial needs, and oversee specialized outside counsel.
Requirements
- 5+ years of legal experience
- Commercial-contracting experience focused on large-scale infrastructure projects
- Experience managing a heavy workload and aggressive transaction timelines
- Understanding or interest in data centers, power, and AI technologies
- JD from an accredited law school
- Active bar membership in at least one U.S. state
- Commitment to being in-office five days per week
- Eligibility under U.S. export regulations or ability to obtain required authorization
Responsibilities
- Lead negotiation and structuring of development, real-estate, and procurement deals
- Negotiate and manage power-related contracts
- Draft, review, and negotiate construction and engineering-services contracts
- Support financing, tax incentives, leases, permitting, easements, land-use, and project-finance matters
- Align legal terms with technical and commercial requirements
- Coordinate specialized outside counsel
- Contribute to infrastructure expansion initiatives
