About the Role
You will lead legal execution for major datacenter leases, construction agreements, and infrastructure financing arrangements. You will negotiate transactions, coordinate specialist counsel, advise on risk and deal structures, and ensure facility agreements support power, cooling, security, and scaling needs.
Requirements
- JD and active membership in at least one U.S. state bar
- Fluency in commercial real estate and construction contracting
- Experience with EPC, AIA, and design-build arrangements
- Comfort with project finance structures
- Ability to coordinate specialized outside counsel
- Strong judgment on operational-flexibility risk
- Collaboration and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Negotiate long-term datacenter leases
- Coordinate design-build contracts, equipment procurement, and commissioning schedules
- Manage legal workstreams for infrastructure financing structures
- Coordinate specialized real estate and financing counsel
- Advise transaction managers on legal and risk management matters
- Coordinate strategic deal structuring with finance and corporate development
- Assess how facility legal structures affect compute capacity
- Escalate novel terms that create operational-flexibility risk
