About the Role

You will lead end-to-end contracting for US data centre campuses. You will negotiate construction, design, equipment, operations and maintenance, real estate, and power agreements; manage contracts through closeout; maintain contract templates; coordinate insurance and bonding; and manage external counsel.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of construction and infrastructure legal experience.
  • Experience negotiating major construction EPC, design-build, professional services, and equipment supply agreements.
  • Experience with large-scale, mission-critical, or industrial projects.
  • Knowledge of construction risk allocation.
  • Ability to negotiate multiple high-value contracts.
  • Ability to explain legal and commercial risk to non-lawyers and senior stakeholders.
  • Qualification as an attorney admitted in at least one US state and in good standing.

Responsibilities

  • Lead negotiations for owner-contractor, EPC, and design-build agreements.
  • Draft and negotiate design and consultancy agreements.
  • Negotiate supply, installation, and O&M agreements for power generation and critical equipment.
  • Support site acquisition, development arrangements, ground leases, and power arrangements.
  • Maintain infrastructure contract templates and playbooks.
  • Manage contracts through delivery and closeout.
  • Coordinate insurance and bonding requirements.
  • Manage US outside counsel.
  • Partner with construction, procurement, finance, real estate, energy, and operations stakeholders.
