About the Role
You will lead the legal strategy for data center acquisitions and digital infrastructure transactions. You will structure, negotiate, and close complex deals, manage infrastructure relationships, and advise on financing, construction, supply chain, regulatory matters, governance, risk, and disputes.
Requirements
- 10+ years of direct legal experience in data center, neo-cloud, or hyperscaler real estate and physical infrastructure transactions.
- Experience negotiating complex leases or colocation agreements.
- Experience leading sophisticated cross-functional transactions.
- Ability to negotiate technical compute infrastructure, hardware, operations, equipment, power, and utilities terms.
- Experience with transaction diligence, regulatory issues, and dispute resolution.
- J.D. and active bar admission.
Responsibilities
- Lead legal strategy for data center acquisitions and digital infrastructure transactions.
- Conduct diligence, structure deals, negotiate agreements, and close transactions.
- Negotiate leases, colocation, capacity reservation, development, and connectivity agreements.
- Manage legal relationships with data center operators, lessors, financing sources, and capacity customers.
- Advise on construction, design, equipment, supply chain, regulatory issues, disputes, corporate structure, governance, and risk.
