About the Role

You will lead US infrastructure matters across the full contracting lifecycle. You will negotiate construction, design, equipment, real-estate, and power agreements; manage delivery and closeout issues; oversee outside counsel; and support project delivery.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of construction and infrastructure legal experience.
  • Experience negotiating major construction EPC, design-build, professional-services, and equipment-supply agreements.
  • Knowledge of construction risk allocation.
  • Ability to negotiate multiple high-value contracts in parallel.
  • Ability to explain legal and commercial risk to non-lawyers and senior stakeholders.
  • US attorney admission in at least one state and good standing.

Responsibilities

  • Lead negotiation of owner-contractor, EPC, and design-build agreements.
  • Draft and negotiate design and consultancy agreements.
  • Negotiate supply, installation, and O&M agreements for power-generation and critical equipment.
  • Support site acquisition, development, ground leases, power procurement, utility, interconnection, and power-purchase arrangements.
  • Maintain and improve infrastructure contract templates and playbooks.
  • Run counterparty comment rounds and apply consistent contract positions.
  • Manage contracts through delivery and closeout.
  • Coordinate insurance and bonding requirements.
  • Manage US outside counsel, including scope, budgets, and advice quality.
  • Partner with construction, procurement, finance, real estate, energy, and operations stakeholders.
