About the Role

You will define and execute life sciences corporate development strategy. You will source, diligence, negotiate, and integrate transactions; assess scientific, technical, regulatory, commercial, and financial considerations; and present strategic recommendations to leadership.

Requirements

• Experience leading complex M&A, investment, or partnership transactions from sourcing through close
• Knowledge of the drug development lifecycle
• Technical fluency in AI and software
• Financial modeling
• Ability to engage with scientists, engineers, executives, and regulators
• Written communication
• Verbal communication

Responsibilities

• Define and execute corporate development strategy for life sciences
• Build a target pipeline across AI-native life sciences companies
• Lead transaction processes from sourcing through integration
• Assess technical, scientific, and commercial value with cross-functional partners
• Conduct scientific, data, regulatory, privacy, quality, and IP diligence
• Assess build, partner, and buy tradeoffs
• Structure and negotiate complex deals
• Build financial models and valuation analyses
• Drive post-transaction integration
• Build relationships with founders, investors, corporate development teams, and research institutions
• Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and the board
• Support partnerships with pharmaceutical companies, CROs, and research organizations
