About the Role
You will draft, review, and negotiate AI safety, research, and enterprise commercial agreements. You will support Sales and GTM teams, improve legal templates and processes, advise Policy, Safeguards, and Research teams on AI governance, identify legal risks, and track legal developments affecting AI technologies.
Requirements
- JD and active membership in at least one U.S. state bar
- Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements
- Ability to provide practical legal guidance on complex commercial law matters
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate AI safety, research, and enterprise commercial agreements
- Partner with Sales and GTM teams to support deal velocity
- Build and maintain contract templates, playbooks, and legal processes
- Advise Policy, Safeguards, and Research teams on AI governance initiatives
- Identify and escalate legal risks
- Stay current on legal developments affecting AI technologies
