About the Role
You will support complex transactions, commercial contracts, and regulatory compliance in Europe. You will draft and negotiate agreements, advise on M&A and financing, research Norwegian and European regulations, manage corporate governance, oversee external counsel, and partner with internal business teams.
Requirements
- Master of Laws degree from a recognized university
- Admission to the Norwegian Bar or another relevant European jurisdiction is highly preferred
- 3–6 years of post-qualification legal experience
- Experience with M&A and corporate financing
- Experience with infrastructure, energy, or large-scale construction projects
- Knowledge of Norwegian corporate law and regulations
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Strong drafting, analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements
- Handle data center, infrastructure, equipment purchase, NDA, framework, and construction contracts
- Advise on corporate transactions and support M&A due diligence, binding offers, and transaction documents
- Assist with financing processes
- Research and advise on Norwegian and European regulations
- Manage contract lifecycle and approval processes for European deals
- Oversee corporate governance for Norwegian and European entities
- Manage external legal counsel
- Partner with internal business teams
