About the Role

You will manage the onboarding, reconciliation, and validation of client cap tables. You will translate SAFEs, equity grants, board resolutions, and financing documents into structured OCF-based data, improve an AI parsing engine, operate the cap table platform, contribute to open-source equity protocols, automate legal workflows, and coordinate legal and technical alignment with stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Hold a JD
  • Have 1–4 years of corporate or transactional experience in a firm, in-house role, or legal operations
  • Demonstrate fluency in venture financings, cap tables, SAFEs, and equity compensation
  • Be comfortable with spreadsheets, APIs, and structured data
  • Possess meticulous attention to detail and excellent communication skills
  • Be a US citizen or permanent resident
  • Be based on the US East Coast and authorized to work in the United States

Responsibilities

  • Manage client cap table onboarding, reconciliation, and validation
  • Enhance the AI engine that parses and structures equity and financing documents
  • Translate SAFEs, equity grants, board resolutions, and financing documents into clean OCF-based data
  • Contribute to open-source cap table protocols and equity representation standards
  • Operate the cap table engine
  • Collaborate with engineering to automate legal workflows
  • Assist support work involving founders, investors, and outside counsel
  • Ensure legal and technical alignment
