About the Role
You will improve trading operations workflows and systems by building intuitive, maintainable automation solutions. You will develop tools for daily operational trading tasks, automate data review and reconciliation, design post-trade systems and controls, troubleshoot production issues, document use cases, and balance long-term initiatives with immediate workflow needs.
Requirements
- Hold a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Demonstrate strong working knowledge of Python
- Demonstrate strong working knowledge of SQL
- Bring 2 or more years of work experience preferred, although talented graduates will be considered
- Demonstrate leadership and collaboration skills
- Translate complex problems into practical working solutions
- Apply outstanding quantitative problem-solving skills
- Communicate information precisely and with agility
- Identify issues and create solutions without rigid direction
Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and refine workflows involving multiple databases and system APIs
- Serve as the point of contact for triaging and debugging
- Own processes and document all use cases
- Collaborate with trading operations to identify automation solutions
- Develop tools that simplify daily operational trading tasks
- Automate data review and reconciliation
