About the Role
You will develop and lead a go-to-market plan to expand API adoption among institutional firms, fintech platforms, trading firms, and large funds. You will manage the full commercial lifecycle with strategic partners, serve as the primary contact for senior stakeholders, translate client trading, liquidity, and execution needs into product insights, analyze market and competitive trends, represent the company at industry events, coordinate cross-functionally to ensure smooth integrations and contractual alignment, and mentor team members to improve execution.
Requirements
- Business development, partnerships, trading desk, or client management experience in traditional finance, fintech, or trading infrastructure
- Strong knowledge of financial markets, API integrations, and trading workflows
- Familiarity with decentralized markets (preferred)
- Ability to speak credibly with senior technical and commercial stakeholders
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Strategic thinking and an existing network of institutional and fintech contacts
- Nice to have: experience at a major fintech, exchange, or HFT/market-making firm
- Nice to have: technical experience working on crypto protocols, DeFi, or open source software
- Nice to have: deep integration with DeFi ecosystem partners and trading protocols
Responsibilities
- Develop and lead execution of a strategic go-to-market plan to expand API adoption among institutional firms, fintech platforms, trading firms, and large funds
- Manage the full commercial lifecycle with strategic partners including outreach, relationship building, negotiations, onboarding, and long-term success
- Serve as the primary contact for senior stakeholders at key external organizations and surface impactful partnerships
- Translate client trading, liquidity, and execution needs into actionable product insights and work with Product and Engineering to shape features
- Analyze competitive market trends and behaviors to identify opportunities to increase protocol volume and active liquidity management
- Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and partner meetings to secure new business opportunities
- Coordinate cross-functionally with Growth, Product, Legal, and Engineering to ensure smooth integrations and contractual alignment
- Develop and lead team members through mentorship, deal reviews, and continuous feedback
