About the Role

You will own business development for AI and compute opportunities at the intersection of AI infrastructure, agentic applications, and onchain markets. You will develop and activate a pipeline of prospective teams, build relationships with founders, venture firms, capital providers, compute operators, and trading partners, and negotiate commercial collaborations. You will drive compute-market and agentic-payment initiatives, coordinate support across technical, ecosystem, DeFi, communications, and legal functions, and track product launches, users, payments, liquidity, and volume.

Requirements

• Experience taking business development or strategic partnerships from initial conversations to working products
• Strong relationships across AI and compute
• Understanding of AI business models
• Ability to work with founders, venture investors, GPU providers, neoclouds, trading firms, and market makers
• Ability to sustain momentum through complex integrations
• Ability to build and prioritize a pipeline autonomously
• Based in San Francisco

Responsibilities

• Build Monad’s presence in San Francisco through founders and the wider AI community
• Develop the pipeline, source teams, and manage qualification, follow-up, deployment, and launch
• Develop relationships with venture firms and crypto-native capital
• Recruit compute-market participants and develop compute-market collaborations
• Find and activate teams building agent-driven and stablecoin payments
• Negotiate commercial arrangements and close collaborations
• Coordinate cross-functional support, set milestones, remove launch blockers, and track outcomes
