About the Role
You will build and manage relationships with AI founders, venture firms, compute providers, and crypto-native capital partners. You will source, qualify, and activate early-stage teams; develop the compute-markets strategy; and drive agentic and stablecoin payment integrations. You will negotiate commercial collaborations, coordinate technical and operational support, remove launch blockers, and measure product adoption, payments, liquidity, and transaction volume.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience taking business development or strategic partnerships from an initial conversation to a working product
- Knowledge of AI business models
- Relationships with founders, venture investors, GPU providers, neoclouds, trading firms, and market makers
- Ability to earn partner trust and sustain momentum through complex integrations
- Ability to build and prioritize a business development pipeline independently
- Based in San Francisco and willing to build relationships in person across the Bay Area
Responsibilities
- Build Monad’s presence in San Francisco through founders and the AI community
- Develop the pipeline, source new teams, and manage qualification, follow-up, deployment, and launch
- Develop relationships with venture firms and crypto-native capital
- Recruit compute-market participants and develop compute-market collaborations
- Find and activate teams building agent-driven and stablecoin payments
- Negotiate commercial arrangements and close collaborations
- Coordinate technical, ecosystem, DeFi, communications, and legal support
- Set priorities and milestones, remove launch blockers, and track product and market outcomes
