About the Role
You will support sourcing and vendor-management activities across technology categories. You will research suppliers and markets, coordinate sourcing events and evaluations, prepare recommendations and documentation, support contract discussions, track milestones, and ensure compliance with procurement and third-party risk requirements.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of experience in technology sourcing, procurement, vendor management, consulting, or related disciplines.
- Experience supporting technology-product and technology-service sourcing initiatives.
- Exposure to software, cloud services, infrastructure, cybersecurity, or IT professional services.
- Understanding of sourcing, procurement, vendor engagement, vendor selection, contract management, and supplier engagement.
- Analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder-management, communication, and commercial-awareness skills.
- Minimum two years of technology-category sourcing in a financial-institution environment.
- Understanding of technology platforms, software licensing, cloud services, banking governance, compliance, and third-party risk.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
Responsibilities
- Support sourcing activities across technology services, software, cloud, infrastructure, and cybersecurity.
- Develop sourcing strategies and category initiatives.
- Conduct supplier research, market assessments, benchmarking, and spend analysis.
- Maintain supplier information and support vendor rationalisation initiatives.
- Gather sourcing requirements and develop evaluation approaches.
- Coordinate supplier engagement, evaluation exercises, RFI, RFP, RFQ, and due-diligence processes.
- Prepare sourcing documentation, business cases, and recommendation papers.
- Support commercial discussions and contract reviews.
- Track sourcing milestones and stakeholder action items.
- Ensure compliance with procurement, governance, and third-party risk requirements.
- Support vendor onboarding, due diligence, audit, compliance, and regulatory documentation.
- Monitor sourcing risks and escalate issues.
- Monitor technology markets, suppliers, pricing, licensing, and contract renewals.
