About the Role
Manage a high-volume pipeline of new opportunities, sell a technical API-first payments product to founders, CTOs, and product leaders, guide prospects through technical evaluations to becoming live customers, and drive expansions and cross-sells.
Requirements
- 3+ years of sales experience closing deals
- Experience selling a payments product or working with stablecoins
- Superior verbal and written communication skills
- Presentation and relationship management skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- BA/BS required
Responsibilities
- Manage and develop an end-to-end sales pipeline
- Convert qualified opportunities into new customers
- Sell to founders, CTOs, and heads of product
- Develop product fluency to sell a technical API-first product
- Guide prospects from the first conversation to becoming live customers
- Partner with Sales Engineers on technical evaluations
- Drive expansions and cross-sells across existing customers
- Communicate customer needs to Product and Marketing teams
- Lead and contribute to projects that improve the sales process

Hiring Process
During the first week, meet the team, onboard onto sales tools, learn the payments landscape, and understand how companies use Modern Treasury. During the first four weeks, learn brand positioning, sales processes, and customer stories; shadow sales calls; review proposals and resources; run first sales calls; and build a pipeline. During the first twelve weeks, independently manage the pipeline, close first customers, contribute to sales-process projects, and communicate customer needs to Product and Marketing.
