About the Role
You will configure and maintain Workday Payroll, Absence, Time Tracking, Core HCM, business processes, and security. You will test releases, resolve system issues, perform impact analysis and audits, create reports and dashboards, support data changes, translate requirements into scalable designs, and automate People Systems processes.
Requirements
- Hands-on Workday Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking configuration and design knowledge
- Hands-on Workday Core HCM knowledge
- Workday business process configuration knowledge
- Workday security knowledge
- Understanding of Workday architecture, security models, and integration methodologies
- Experience with Workday implementations or significant module expansions
- Knowledge of HR data security and privacy
- Documentation skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
Responsibilities
- Configure and maintain Workday Payroll, Absence, Time Tracking, and Core HCM
- Support recurring People cycles including compensation reviews, open enrollment, and organizational restructures
- Design and maintain Workday business processes, rules, validations, routing, approvals, and notifications
- Troubleshoot configuration-driven payroll issues with the Payroll team
- Configure and troubleshoot Workday security groups and policies
- Support security and data audits and remediate exceptions
- Perform impact analysis before system changes
- Lead testing and adoption for twice-yearly Workday releases
- Translate business requirements into scalable system designs and document decisions
- Support change management, documentation, and enablement for system updates
- Build reports, dashboards, alerts, scheduled reports, and report security
- Resolve system issues through root-cause analysis
- Identify AI, automation, and process optimization opportunities
