About the Role
You will advise business partners on legal issues across asset classes, investment strategies, and client types. You will negotiate institutional asset-management agreements, advise on investment vehicles, coordinate stakeholders, manage complex projects, and help improve legal processes with technology.
Requirements
- J.D.
- Six to eight years of relevant legal experience
- Experience with ERISA
- Knowledge of federal securities laws
- Knowledge of the Investment Advisers Act of 1940
- Knowledge of federal and state laws applicable to discretionary asset management
