About the Role
You will lead field user acquisition and agent operations in your territory. You will manage a team of distributors, ensure agent compliance and contract execution, coordinate agent liquidity, monitor performance and risk, recover or offboard underperforming agents, coach and train staff, scout distribution zones, and report daily on field activities.
Requirements
- 3+ years of sales experience in user acquisition, agent operations or liquidity management
- Experience within mobile money, finance, fintech, telecoms, or tech
- Proven sales track record and ability to identify customer needs
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English and a local language
- Strong interpersonal skills for building and maintaining relationships
- Work authorization in Uganda
Responsibilities
- Manage a team of 7 to 10 distributors
- Ensure agent compliance with legal and policy requirements
- Execute and validate agent contracts
- Train agents on contract contents and operations
- Ensure agents are branded and have necessary supplies
- Coordinate monitoring of agent cash and e-value liquidity
- Monitor agent performance and report emerging issues
- Identify and troubleshoot underperforming agents and recover equipment
- Serve as primary contact for agency networks in the territory
- Execute operational excellence, cost management and regulatory compliance
- Coach, train and mentor distributors to meet service standards and KPIs
- Scout and prioritize zones for distribution efforts
- Provide distributors with daily supplies and work materials
- Report daily on distribution efforts, needs and field feedback
- Onboard and train new distributors and enforce team-building
