About the Role
You will own full-cycle recruiting for specialized technical and non-technical roles, including software engineering, DevSecOps, AI and machine learning, and data engineering positions. You will recruit for Department of Defense programs and government contracts, manage security clearance considerations, build passive talent pipelines, partner with hiring managers, and improve the candidate experience. You will also scale onboarding, optimize employee lifecycle processes, maintain documentation and data integrity, and support People Operations program design.
Requirements
- 5+ years of technical recruiting experience.
- Experience recruiting technical talent for Department of Defense programs or government contracts.
- Familiarity with Secret, Top Secret, and TS/SCI security clearance processes.
- Experience managing the full talent funnel from intake through offer negotiations.
- Strong interest in People Operations.
- Experience partnering with senior leadership and engineering stakeholders.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity independently.
- Strong organization and attention to detail.
- Nice to have: experience designing or improving onboarding and employee lifecycle programs.
- Nice to have: experience with Greenhouse ATS and Onboarding.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end hiring for specialized technical and non-technical roles.
- Recruit talent for Department of Defense programs and government contracts.
- Manage security clearance requirements, timelines, and candidate pools.
- Build pipelines of passive talent in the AI and defense sectors.
- Partner with hiring managers and senior HR leadership to define roles and candidate profiles.
- Improve interview processes and candidate feedback mechanisms.
- Own and scale the onboarding program.
- Identify and resolve friction across the employee lifecycle.
- Improve offboarding workflows, documentation, and data integrity.
- Support People Operations program design and process improvement.
