About the Role
Join Carta's Fund Tax team to manage the tax team and delivery process, improve the LP experience through automated K-1s, connect fund administration and tax products, support client engagement, and expand automated tax preparation and filing offerings.
Requirements
- 8+ years of applicable tax experience
- Ability to identify and mitigate potential issues proactively
- Knowledge of venture capital and/or private equity
- Ability to manage competing demands and solve ambiguous problems
- Ability to work cross-functionally and drive progress
- Understanding of Carta's venture client ecosystem and customer engagement needs
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Responsibilities
- Partner with product and engineering to automate and release K-1s on Carta's software platform
- Ensure a reliable connection between fund administration and tax products
- Help manage a team of tax professionals serving the client base
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to support business growth
