About the Role
You will oversee financial transactions, maintain accounting controls, and ensure compliance with financial, legal, regulatory, and accounting standards. You will manage the external auditor relationship, develop finance staff, and work with Product Managers to ensure products are correctly designed for accounting and tax.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- At least 8 years of experience in auditing, accounting, or finance.
- Experience with financial reporting requirements in Côte d'Ivoire.
- Experience managing tax audits.
- Fluency in French and English.
- Time management, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Interpersonal communication and leadership skills.
- Computer skills in Word and Excel.
Responsibilities
- Review and monitor company financial transactions.
- Ensure compliance with financial, legal, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
- Manage the external auditor relationship and accounting-standards compliance.
- Recruit, train, mentor, and develop finance staff.
- Work with Product Managers to ensure products are correctly designed for accounting and tax.
