About the Role
You will own the accounting function, including financial reporting, controls, audit readiness, and compliance. You will manage the close process and daily accounting operations, develop scalable reporting and accounting policies, oversee multi-entity accounting, enhance NetSuite, and coordinate with internal stakeholders and external advisors.
Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Active CPA license
- U.S. GAAP expertise
- Accounting team leadership experience
- Experience with monthly close, financial-statement preparation, reconciliations, audit support, and internal controls
- NetSuite experience
- Familiarity with Ramp and Rippling
- Experience in a rapidly growing venture-backed company
- Written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
- Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including general ledger, consolidations, reconciliations, accruals, journal entries, and GAAP financial statements
- Manage daily accounting operations across procurement, vendor management, employee expenses, revenue, and capital expenditures
- Develop close and reporting cadences for financial visibility and clean actuals
- Own accounting policies and technical conclusions for leases, fixed assets, equity compensation, R&D arrangements, capitalization, foreign currency, and commercial agreements
- Oversee U.S. and international entity accounting, intercompany activity, statutory reporting, payroll obligations, and compliance
- Enhance NetSuite functionality and integrations for scalable reporting
- Evaluate accounting and control implications of contracts, programs, facilities, and business models
- Serve as the key contact for external auditors and tax advisors
